ORIGINAL SERIES:

HEY, HEY, IT'S NBA!

DESCRIPTION:

A series of illustrations and posters inspired by the aesthetics of the NBA in the ’90s and early 2000s—the era of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

The title references the iconic greeting of Włodzimierz Szaranowicz, who opened NBA broadcasts on Polish television—marking an entire generation’s first contact with the league.

The series combines sports energy with nostalgia, filtered through the experience of growing up in Poland in the ’90s, while also drawing from the aesthetics of cinema and film posters of that era. The project extends beyond paper—featured on T-shirts and developed as an ongoing series.
